Visual goal tracker for iPhone
Finish what you start, with a goal tracker you actually look at.
Chaltra is a goal tracker app for iPhone. Pick a challenge, like saving $1,000 or meditating 30 days, and fill its picture a little each day. It sits on your home screen, where you see it every time you unlock. Keep showing up, and one day the picture is full. You did that.
Coming soon to the App Store.
The problem
Why most goal trackers stop working
Goals rarely fail on day one. They fade in the middle, when you can no longer see how far you have come. A checkbox shows you today, never the whole climb, and what you cannot see slips away. A review of 138 studies found the other side of it: people who track their progress reach their goals more often.
The fix
What is a visual goal tracker?
A visual goal tracker turns your goal into a picture that fills as you log progress. In Chaltra, every challenge gets one. It starts cold and dark, then warms and brightens with each day you show up. One look tells you how far you have come, and how close the finish is.
How it works
How to track a goal with Chaltra
Goal
Pick a goal
An amount to reach, like “Save $1,000”, or a number of days, like “Meditate 30 days”. It takes a minute.
Where it came from
Show up each day
Days are one tap. Amounts are a number, split by where they came from. Every day makes the picture warmer.
Fill it to the end
Keep going until the picture is full. Then play back the whole climb, or share it.

The art
14 progress visualizations to choose from
Every challenge gets one of 14 pictures. Pick the one you will want to see full. It fills with your colors as you go, and empty spots stay soft and dark, never gray.

Playback
Replay your progress from day one
Playback fills your picture from empty to today in a few seconds, so you see the whole climb at once. On a hard day, it shows you how far you have already come.
Why you'll love it
Made for the middle, where goals get hard
Cold start, warm finish.
It warms up as you go
Your picture starts cold and glows warmer with each day you show up. You can feel how far you have come.
A missed day is just a day
No red marks and no streak to break. The picture keeps every day you did, so tomorrow you just pick up again.

Questions
Chaltra: frequently asked questions
- Is Chaltra free?
- Chaltra is free to download and you can start a challenge right away. Some features are part of a paid subscription, which you can see in the app before you buy anything.
- Does Chaltra work on Android?
- Not yet. Chaltra is an iPhone app today. If you are on Android, there is nothing to install right now.
- What kinds of goals can I track?
- Anything you can count. Chaltra handles two shapes: an amount you add up to, like saving $1,000 or running 500 km, and a number of days you show up, like meditating 30 days. Most goals fit one of the two.
- What is the difference between a goal tracker and a habit tracker?
- A habit tracker asks whether you did the thing today. A goal tracker asks how close you are to finishing. Chaltra is a goal tracker, so every challenge has a target and an end, not an endless streak.
- Can I put my progress on my home screen?
- Yes. Widgets put your goal picture on your iPhone home screen, and it fills as you log progress. You do not have to open the app to see where you are.
- Can I export my progress to share it?
- Yes. You can export any goal as a high resolution image, or as a video that replays your progress from day one. Both go through the normal iPhone share sheet.
So what will you finish?
Pick one goal. Fill it a little each day. Keep showing up, and one day the picture is full.
